Lyonell Gaines is a versatile player that can play on the wing or in the post. He is tenacious defender and is great in transition. Gaines skills are a work in progress; however, he has shown flashes of promise offensively. He has a nice slashing game and sports a satisfactory spot up jumps shot. Overall, he is an extremely polite and good natured young man. Recently, Cincinnati has started to show some interest in Gaines.
