Kameron Woods is a long, lanky, athletic kid, with a nice upside. He was a standout last season on the J.V. team. This season he is set to make a noticeable impact on the varsity level, as the starting Center. That in itself is impressive for a kid that failed to make the team as a freshman.

Woods is a stellar defender. His long arms, lanky frame and good sense of timing are ideal for blocking and altering shots. His post defense is above average as well, and should improve even more as he adds strength. Offensively, his game is still a couple of signature post moves away from being dangerous; although he makes the best of offensive rebounds and his ability to the floor. He can score well enough to keep defenses honest.

Full Court Preps writer David Money recently caught up with Woods for a little Q & A:

Woods carries himself well, has a nice demeanor and is very coachable. The junior to be could find himself squarely in the cross hairs of college coaches in the coming months.
