Travis Carroll averaged over 22 points per game as a junior at Danville high, IN. This kid has a very deceptive skill set. He doesn't run very fast or jump high but, he manages to post huge numbers on a very consistent basis. Carroll uses his wide frame, above par footwork and soft hands to convert tough plays in the post in high percentages. He is not very fast or quick but he runs the floor well enough not to be a defensive liability very often. He is an above average post defender especially when he is allowed to patrol the paint. Carroll has a decent drop step that will lead to easy dunks and layups at times.

Full Court Preps writer David Money recently caught up with the talented post player for a little Q & A:

The 2010 class is shaping up to be a dynamite haul for the Boilermakers. Travis Carroll and Anthony Johnson are both more than capable players. Couple them with the underrated Teron Johnson and Donnie Hale and this haul should be among the top 10 classes nationally.
