Our final 2009 class rankings are being revealed starting May 11. Releasing one team a day leading up to our #1 ranking and the signing day finale on May 20.
The Big 12 has had a huge recruiting haul as a whole. Big 12 teams make up 40% of the top 10. The conference will be tough again next season, believe that. Texas head coach Rick Barnes should feel confident about his teams chances. His three man class includes two consensus top 15 players ( Avery Bradley & Jordan Hamilton) and another elite prospect in Shawn Williams. Also the Longhorns will have four star transfer Jai Lucas at their disposal.
Avery Bradley-Is there anything this kid is lacking? This kid solidified himself as the creme de la' creme of the class in his final couple of high school games against the best competition and on the to biggest stages. First in the McDonald's All American game Bradley had 15 points, 2 steals and 6 rebounds in a very emphatic fashion. Followed by a game high 22 points while leading his team to the ESPN NHSI Championship over Oak Hill Academy. With Kevin Durant as a role model this kid should turn his talent into a lottery selection in the 2010 draft if he chooses. Photo.

Jordan Hamilton- This kid is a brute. A high octane, highly flammable player with multi dimensional skills. This kid is instant offense. Hamilton has elite lift and will raise up on just about anyone. This kid runs like a gazelle in the open court and will be at his best when the ball is being pushed. Hamilton thrives offensively when he puts the ball on the deck and doesn't settle for the jumper. Overall this kid is an elite talent and will be mentioned among the top players in the big 12 during his tenure. Averaged 27.6 points and 11.1 rebounds as a junior. Photo.

Shawn Williams- This kid has maintained unanimous top 60 ranking for over two years now. Williams is a proven winner as his Panthers squad posted a 53 game winning streak until running into Oak Hill Academy late in December, 2007. Great in transition and can square up and knock down the open three with consistency. Williams is long, smooth and athletic. Overall he has all the attributes you would want in an elite wing. we love this kids game and potential. Photo.
