The news of Xavier and C.J. Henry bolting to Kansas had to be bad for coach Calipari, however it didn't take long for him to move onto his next target. Darnell Dodson had formerly been committed to Memphis and now has officially signed his letter of intent with the Wildcat's. The 6'7 Dodson brings size an d athleticism to the roster. The versatile wing can also stroke the ball form the perimeter. Dodson had originally signed with Pittsburgh ( same class as Dejaun Blair and Brad Wanamaker) and was to play in the 07-08 season. However due to academic reasons had to depart for junior college. Dodson is widely considered a 3 star talent. Last season at Miami-Dade he helped lead his team to 26-2 regular season record. He averaged 15.7 points and 5.6 rebounds. Photo courtesy of here.
