The word underrated comes to mind each time I watch Thomas Blakemore play. He is a quick, strong, combo guard, that always displays a high level of focus while on the court. Most importantly he seems equally if not more interested in his education.
Recently Full Court Preps writer David Money was able to catch up with the senior to be.
Coaches Corner: 2010 Guard Thomas Blakemore
| Butler High KY, Coaches Corner, Derek Smith All Stars, Thomas BlakemoreCoaches Corner: 2011 Guard Mike Geegan
| Bowling Green High, Coaches Corner, Kentucky Blazers, Mike GeeganMike Geegan in an active player that is always moving and hustling. Geegan sports a very consistent long range shot and is improving in other areas of his game all the time. Recently Full Court Preps writer David Money was able to catch up with the junior to be.
Coaches Corner: 2011 PG Darius Clement
| Bowling Green High, Coaches Corner, Darius Clement, Kentucky BlazersDarius Clement is a heady point guard that has gotten better every time I have seen him play. He has great instincts and court vision. Clement certainly will not wow you with any one particular skill. At the same time he won't make that many mistakes while on the court either. Clement needs to improve his jump shot to play at the next level, but he has time to do that.
Coaches Corner: 2010 Prospect Chasen Campbell
| Chasen Campbell, Coaches Corner, IUPUI, Oak Hill AcademyChasen Campbell is a kid that has definitely flown under the radar. Last season while at the prestigious Oak Hill Academy he was sidelined with an ankle injury for part of the season. During the portion of the season that he was healthy he was backing up McDonald's All American Keith Gallon, which also limited his minutes. Campbell is a really good kid both in the classroom and on the hardwood and deserves at least a look from college coaches. He has a rugged 6'8 frame and did a great job against top 2011 big man Michael Chandler recently in Cincinnati. He won't score points in bunches, but he can score well enough to keep the defense honest. His strong hands and quick feet seem to always seem to have him in position for rebounds. He is dedicated while in the weight room and is among the stronger players that I have seen play.
