Our final 2009 class rankings are being revealed starting May 11, releasing one team a day leading up to our #1 ranking and the signing day finale on May 20.
Unload then reload IMMEDIATELY. Isn't it is absolutely amazing when you think about the recruiting consistency that this team has had since Roy William's arrival. This five man class features a hearty helping of talent with power forward John Henson as the main dish. The defending national champions should be in the scrum for both a conference title and a final four birth once again.
John Henson- This young man has a long thin lanky frame, but please do not be fooled. Henson is among the best rebounding and scoring forwards in the 2009 class. This kid has almost a sixth sense of where to be, at all times. Henson posses an astronomical skill set and really has a small forwards game. Can do so many things with and without the ball. Will start and compete for conference hardware from day 1. Henson is originally form Round Rock Texas , but moved to Tampa with his family for his senior season.Photo.

Height: 6'10
Weight: 190
Rivals.com Rank: #5, #2 PF
Scout.com Rank: #4, #1 PF
ESPN.com Rank: #6,#2 PF, scouts grade 98
Spin: This kid is definitely a star, but we like ESPN's rank best.
Dexter Strickland- This kid has a nice overall skill set, but won't woo you with one particular thing. One thing is for sure, Strickland has a motor that don't stop. This kid is a fast brake capped off with a lob dunk, waiting to happen. Plays wreck less at times but will calm down once he arrives on campus. Strickland is at his best when playing off the ball, considering he can score in so many different ways. He may be asked to play the point early but will be more comfortable at the shooting guard position. Overall this kid is a dominant guard. Photo.
High School: St. Patrick High School

Height: 6'2
Weight: 180
Rivals.com Rank: #34, #9 SG
Scout.com Rank: #33, #8 SG
ESPN.com Rank: #27, #8 SG, scouts grade 95
Spin: Well rounded skills, but we like Scouts rank best.
David Wear- Both he and his twin brother are troopers in the post, however David may be the slightly better of the two. This kid has an elite feel for the game to compliment his average athleticism. Wear can finish in traffic and uses his long arms and tough nose to get his share of boards. This kid can also shoot pretty consistently form about 15 feet as well. Wear's game should compliment Tyler Zeller and John Henson's game well in the new look Tar Heel rotation. Photo.

Rivals.com Rank: #59, #16 PF

ESPN.com Rank: #36, #9 PF, scouts grade 94
Spin: The Wear bothers may shock the nation but not us, we like ESPN's rank best.
Travis Wear- One half of the dynamic duo. This kid may be slightly less talented that his brother, but overall possess the same crafty skill set. His nice footwork in the post helps him to set up a jump hook that is difficult to defend. This kid is tough and will fit into the 5 man front court rotation nicely. Photo.

Leslie McDonald- A smooth shooting guard that can score in a few different fashions. Should follow nicely in the line of good shooting guards at UNC. McDonald can't shoot as good as Wayne Ellington or penetrate as good as Vince Carter, however he may be able to drive better than Ellington and shoot better that Carter if you catch my drift. This kid could possibly beat out Larry Drew for the starting position next season. Photo.
