The 6'10 center was rumored to have asked for a release from his letter of intent. As of now Daniel Orton has not asked for a release. Orton has reported to Jeff Drumond of Rivals.com that the whole
thin is a " big misunderstanding."
In other news Nolan Dennis has been released from his letter of intent by the university of Memphis. The 6'4 guard has not produced a list, however his mother did have this to offer up:
"He loves coach (John) Calipari," she said. "Definitely, he was the main reason he was going (to Memphis). He idolizes him. (Calipari) will make him such a better player."
At this point it would be more surprising if Dennis did not wind up in Lexington.
