Ferguson is an ambitious player and remains composed in big games. Ferguson has a ton of potential and he plays for one of the most prestigious high schools in the state of Indiana. Ferguson was set back as a freshman with a season ending injury slowing his expected progress. In October, 2007 at the Pagnos All Midwest Fresh/Soph camp, Ferguson burst back onto the national scene.
During the 09' NBA camp Ferguson shot down speculation that he may transfer to Oak Hill Academy.
