Thomas is a versatile lefty from Indiana. Thomas led his team to the class 2A title this season. Scoring 20 points, Thomas was the staple of his teams 69-67 win over Winchester. As a freshman Thomas led the state of Indiana in scoring posting, beating out Eric Gordon for the title.Thomas averaged 29.8 points last season and broke his schools scoring record as a sophomore. Thomas has been compared to Lebron James. Thomas is simply bigger, faster and stronger than the competition and at times makes the game look easy. DeShaun is a very aggressive player and is not afraid to punish the opposition in the paint. Thomas verbally committed to Ohio State when he was 15, it was rumored that he was still being shopped around, but thus far Thomas has remained true to the Buckeyes’. Thomas averaged 30.7 ppg as a junior
