Fant is relatively new to the game of basketball. The Cincinnati native has only been playing organized ball for for two years. Fant's lack of experience doesn't take away from the fact that he is a long, lean kid that finishes well in transition. Fant doesn't have too many moves with his back to the basket, but he is improving. He is a bit undersized to play in the post. However,he makes up for it with his aggressive style and active feet. Defensively Fant has a nice feel for the game but I would still consider his skill to be a work in progress. If he grows another couple of inches he could develop into a top 75 player in his class.
