Word is spreading quickly that one of the top 30 players in the 2010 class is all set to verbally commit to the Kentucky Wildcat's. Will Barton is a smooth 6'6, 170 pound shooting guard out of Baltimore Maryland. Barton would be the Cat's first commitment of the 2010 class under new coach Calipari.
On April the 21 Kentucky Coach John Calipari and his close friend Indiana coach Tom Crean were both on hand at Lake Clifton High to watch a workout by Barton.
Word is that Jim Boeheim of Syracuse, Gary Williams of Maryland and several others were also in the gymnasium. Barton already has offers from Georgetown, Memphis, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Providence and Virginia.
