Our final 2009 class rankings are being revealed starting May 11. Releasing one team a day leading up to our #1 ranking and the signing day finale on May 20.

North Carolina- 5 Players all among the top 75 in the nation. Power Forward John Hesnon is the gem. Point Guard Dexter Strickland will fit nicely into the Tar Heels style once Lawson departs. Twin brothers David and Travis Wear will add depth to a Hansbbrough - less front court and should compliment Henson and Zeller. Leslie McDonald is a prototypical top 50 shooting guard with the ability to slash.

Villanova- Mouphtaou Yarou is the first top tier post player that the Wildcats have been home to in the Jay Wright Era. Isiaiah Armwood is also a solid big that will compete for immediate minutes. Maalik Waynes is tailor made to play in the Big East. With his big frame and gritty style he should be a mainstay in the starting lineup, especially with Scottie Reynolds declaring for the draft. Dominic Cheek is a solid shooting guard with the offensive arsenal of a tank. Cheek has a solid all around game without to many holes in it.

Texas - 3 players signed. With 2 of the top 15 players on the nation coming in, Long horn fans have the right to be excited about the future. Avery Bradley fresh off of his McDonald's and NHSI performances is the definite diamond of the class. The talented 2 guard will provide immediate scoring, athleticism,leadership and swagger to the team. Jordan Hamilton is a top notch athlete with the ability to create his own shot and score in bunches, he and Bradley should be among the top scoring duos in the nation. Shawn Williams is a talented 6'6 combo player. Williams is capable of playing 3 positions on the court at any time and will provide a versatile player that could thrive in many situations.

Georgia Tech- 5 players. 5 star big man Derrick Favors is the cream of the class and should step in nicely for Johnson who has departed early for the draft. Point Guard Mfon Udofia is solid and should shoulder some of the scoring load left by the departure of Jeff Teague. Swing man Glen Rice should provide some depth in the back court and help on the perimeter.

USC- 4 players signed. Renardo Sydney is a once every few years type of player that brings a wide 6'9 frame and the ability to break a press to the court. This guy is freakishly talented and will thrive at a number of position while at USC. Noel Johnson is a smooth shooting guard with a sweet stroke. Lamont Jones is a heady point guard that makes his teammates better.
